Let go

It can sometimes be easy to let go of something or someone that is not particularly special to you. However when we have to let go of those people or belongs we cherish, letting go can be incredibly difficult and upsetting.

Imagine how God feels when we sees us holding on to people or belongings that do not reflect help us do His will? Maybe we are giving priority to people or belongings in our lives, rather than putting God first. If so, just as we’re told in the bible, we must let go of those things which stop up us giving our all to God, so that we can put Him before everything and everyone else in our life.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

1 Corinthians 13:11 (NIV)
