Second chances

Ever wished you could do something over again but do it differently this time?

Christ gave us that second chance at life when he gave his life for us at Calvary.

Many get second chances when they find out they have life threatening illnesses but because of medical advances and skilled surgeons, are given a second chance at life.

Just as our physical being may get a second chance at life, so we can have a second chance with our spiritual life, because if we acknowledge our sins and seek God’s forgiveness, He will forgive us and welcome us with open arms.

Those who get a second chance at life, often feel they have to make the most of every ‘extra’ day they are given. So why not make the decision today to make the most of every day you have of life by giving your heart, and your all to God today, and promise to serve Him for the rest of your life.

 I worship you, God’s only Son,
 Who took my sins to the cross
 So I could be completely free
 To follow where you lead.
 Lord you wounds are now my healing,
 And I am wholly yours.
 You know my name and where I’m going,
 Guardian of my soul.

 O let me hear thee speaking
 In accents clear and still,

 The murmurs of self-will.

 I’ll follow you, God’s only Son,
 Along the road to the cross,

 And as I reach the hill of Calvary
