Infinite value

I have been told several times in the past that at job interviews I do not sell myself; in fact I used to completely undersell all my responsibilities and achievements.

At work recently we’ve had to fill in a skills matrix by indicating against a number of skills our level of knowledge/skill. In doing so I had to remember not to undersell myself, but also ensure that the members of my team also gave themselves accurate ratings.

I have found that the majority of people tend to under estimate their abilities, although there’s always a few exceptions to that! That’s possibly why I liked the following Helen Keller quote.

Undervaluing yourself at work it one thing, but undervaluing our worth in God’s eyes, is another.

So never forget that God loves you, and he loves you unconditionally, because He made you and therefore He know’s you are of infinite value.
