We all face situations that try our patience on a daily basis. Maybe your children are constantly screaming and running round the house fighting one another; maybe you’re wi-fi is constantly on a go slow, so you struggle to get your work done online; maybe on a phone call you keep getting put on hold or passed to another operator without getting any answers.
The the people and things around you seem to be conspiring to make your life more difficult, keeping your patience can be even harder. Maybe you have some distressing techniques that you employ during these kinds of situations. Maybe you have a desk calendar that gives you an encouraging quote each day, such as “Keep Calm and Carry On”.
But maybe a daily quote on a calendar isn’t always what you need, so can I suggest that there is one source that will always provide you with the encouragement you need, the bible.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
