Christmas lights shine on us everywhere we look just now – light on our Christmas tree, lights in windows, lights in gardens lighting up the path to the house.
Yes, Christmas lights are most definitely, all around us in the lead up to Christmas Day.
all these lights lighting up our surroundings, and showing us where we should walk. This reminded me of Mary and Joseph’s journey to Bethlehem on that first Christmas morning, and of the journey the shepherds and wise men also made to Bethlehem. They followed a star which shone brightly over the stable where the Son of God was born. Are we following the path God is showing us to follow?
