Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
For many, this week is the first week of the Easter school holidays. Holidays, which for many teachers, pupils, parents and their families alike, gives the opportunity to ‘get away from’ their every day life, and go away on holiday.
Holidays for many give the chance to release any built up tension and stresses; it allows them to spend quality time with their families and friends; and gives time to relax, refresh and put the stresses of their daily life to one side, just for a few days. So for all those on holiday just now, we hope you enjoy your holidays!
It’s funny how our mind works sometimes, because while thinking about holidays and many people being away, I was immediately struck how fortunate we are that God never takes a time-out, as he’s never on holiday! It’s so reassuring to know that no matter the day, no matter the time, God is always there for us.
And He will be leading you. He’ll be with you, and He’ll never fail you or abandon you. So don’t be afraid!
Deuteronomy 31:8 (The Voice)
You are always there, (Repeat) And your love will never cease. You fill me with your peace You are always there. You are always there, (Repeat) When I come to you in prayer I know that you are always there.
