Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
Come to God just as you are, and He can make you whole again.
God is amazing, gracious, loving, and forgiving, and He calls us to salvation, even though we really don’t deserve it! God sacrificed his only son, Jesus, so we could receive forgiveness. In response, He asks that we confess our sins and turn away from the the things in our past which are not of Him.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
When we come to Him, He welcomes us just as we are, and then begins to change us as we submit to Him in obedience. I therefore encourage you to come as you are to God today.
You can come as you are, with all your broken pieces, and God will accept you just as you are.
