Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared a short thought for Christmas Day. I’d like to share that with you tonight.
At this time of year it can be so easy to get caught up in the busyness of all we need to do in the lead up to Christmas, and the preparation, and possibly travel, we need to do on Christmas Day itself. In all the busyness we may not give ourselves time to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas, and most importantly, we need to remember who Christmas is about:
Who is he in yonder stall at whose feet the shepherds fall?
We pray that today you will take time to celebrate the birth of Jesus on this day, and remember the reason God sent Him to earth all those years ago, on that first Christmas morning.
