No change

I’m sure many of us do not like change – we like things just the way they are, so why do we need to change them?

It may be that, not only do we not like change, but we actually don’t handle it well – we get stressed and anxious….and maybe that’s why it happens, as it shows we’re not putting our trust in God.

I the Lord do not change.

Malachi 3:6 (NIV)

God doesn’t change – His care and compassion for us remains constant; He will always provide for our needs – often in what we’d consider to be ‘just in time’. It’s during these time of stress and change that we can find out most about overselves, and how strong our faith is, because in those difficult times our faith can be strengthened.

If it feels as if everything around you is changing, remember, Jesus’ care and compassion for you will never change.
