Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
With just one week to go until Christmas Day, I am finally organised for Christmas, with just some food shopping to do next week. I’ve felt as if I’ve been so focused on work, and trying to get Christmas cards written and presents bought and wrapped, that I haven’t spent much time focusing on the reason we celebrate Christmas.
While randomly listening to some music while working last week, my attention was caught by these words.

This Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, consider if ‘there is room in your heart for God to write His story’ in your life? There was no space reserved for Jesus in Bethlehem, so he was born in a stable.
This Christmas don’t forget about Jesus, instead make room for Him in your hearts and every part of your life. Let God implement the plan He has made for us, by accepting Him into our hearts today.
What better time is there to accept Jesus into your heart than this Christmas when we celebrate His birth on that first Christmas morning. Is there room in your heart for God to write your story this Christmas?
