Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
In these days where technology has become an essential part of our every day lives, many spend hours each day ‘glued’ to their phones so they don’t miss the latest local or world news or updates from friends/family.
How does God ever get our attention if our focus is on updates on our phones? Maybe we need God to phone us!
The good news is we can find God in everything, so even if we’re on our phones keeping up to date with latest news, God is part of that and he can still get our attention through that medium.
For too long, for too long
I have set my own direction
Now has come the time
For undisturbed reflection
These words remind us that even though God may not have been the focus of our attention for some time, we can make a decision now, today, to put that right – to stop and just spend time just listening to what God has to say to us.
