Mental health Monday #26

Do any of these statements sounds like you?

If you experience any or all of the above, it’s confirmed, you experiencing loneliness. It’s tough isn’t it feeling like the ‘outsider’ even when you’re in a room full of people you know.

When you don’t go when your ‘friends’ arrange a catch-up or a night out – no-one contacts you to see if you’re ok, as no-one seems to notice you’re missing.

Loneliness is an awful feeling which can lead your mental health into a downward spiral. Don’t let your feelings of isolation keep you from continuing to try and break down those feelings of loneliness. Try joining a group, and find new friends – friends who will accept you as you. You can break these feelings of loneliness, but you need to take the first steps to do so.
