Right from the start of this week I had a feeling it was going to be a ‘bit of a week’ to use a phrase I used to hear a friend use frequently.
There been planned tasks; unplanned tasks; distractions; tasks that should never have been required; meetings, meetings and more meetings.
Time off; friendship; coffee; cake; walk; catch-up; time to chill; band practice; band devotions; prepare videos.
Then today there is a day full of memories and grief, as 12 years ago today my Dad passed away from vascular dementia. I think of my Mum and Dad daily, and today Dad is on my mind even more than usual.
A week of highs and lows; a week where some days I achieved my planned tasks, while other days events conspired to change my priorities and ultimately the output from my planned tasks.
If I focus on the positives this weeks, it has been a better week, just one with lots of variety…but that’s the way I like my weeks!
