God’s grace

I have realised that if you don’t know what ‘God’s grace’ is, my last few posts may have been quite confusing. So I thought I’d start today’s post by explaining what God’s grace is. Here’s what Google told me God’s grace is:

In Christianity, God’s grace is a freely given, undeserved gift of divine favor, kindness, and mercy. It’s often associated with salvation, forgiveness, and the abundant life that God provides, even to those who are unworthy. Grace is not something that can be earned or deserved; it’s a spontaneous act of God’s love.

At this time of year, as we approach Easter, it’s a time when I often find myself thinking about God’s grace. If I’m honest, I always struggle to fully comprehend and accept why God loves me so much, when I fail Him so often. I think that’s probably why around Easter I find myself thinking about God’s grace for me

God loves each one of us, regardless of who we are; our beliefs; our mistakes, and wants each of us to come and kneel at the cross and give every part of us to Him. I encourage you to make that your aim this Easter.
