Overwhelmed, be held

There are days when life feels like too much. The calendar is full, the heart is heavy, and the soul feels stretched thin. In those moments, we stand at a crossroads, not of circumstances, but of choice. What will we choose when the waves rise and the wind howls?

Feeling overwhelmed is not a sign of failure, instead it’s an invitation to come to God – To choose surrender over striving, and to remember that we are not alone.

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

John 16:33
Lord,
When the weight of life presses in, help us choose You.
Help us to choose grace over guilt, rest over rush, and faith over fear.
Lead us to the Rock that is higher than us.
Hold us when I cannot hold ourselves, and remind us that even in the storm, we am safe in Your love.
Amen.

When life overwhelms, we often grip harder to all that’s going on, but God invites us to release it all, and give it all to Him.

Just Be Held by Casting Crowns speaks directly to the soul when it’s tired of holding it all together. “Your world’s not falling apart, it’s falling into place.”  – Let those words remind you that surrender is sacred. So when life feels like too much, choose the One who is more than enough, as He will always love and support you.
