Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26
Some weeks feel heavier than others. We face situations that stretch us, tasks that overwhelm us, and moments where our own strength simply isn’t enough. Jesus doesn’t deny that reality—He names it. With man this is impossible.
But He doesn’t stop there.
He lifts our eyes.
He widens our hope.
He reminds us that our limitations are not His limitations.
When we gather as a band, we bring more than music. We bring our questions, our pressures, our quiet prayers. And in the middle of all of it, God draws near—not to demand more from us, but to do what only He can do.
Where we see impossibility, He sees opportunity.
Where we feel weak, He brings strength.
Where we feel unsure, He brings peace.
As you move through this Wednesday, hold onto this truth:
The God who comes near is the God who makes the impossible possible.
Here’s ‘Be Thou My Vision’ that is a prayerful acknowledgement that we need God’s leading when our own vision is limited.
