So what habits do you have? Are all your habits good ones or do you have some bad habits as well?
Well I, just like you, have some good and some bad habits – Some of which I’ve had for years, others seem to just become a habit in the last year or so.
The question is, do you want to change your bad habits? If so, how do you go about it? Well just as I mentioned yesterday, for something to become a habit, or an unconscious action, you must repeat it on 20 consecutive days. But does this really work?

In my experience, if you take the action for 20 consecutive days believing that you can make that action a habit, you will achieve your desired result.
Set your goals, make your plan for each day and follow that plan…it will work.
Hey Dot, thanks for this post. Like many people at this
time of the year, I have been doing alot of thinking about what
changes I would like to see in myself and my life this year. I am
really feeling quite excited about habits because of the potential
they have for lasting positive change in my life. If it only takes
twenty days to establish a new habit, then this year I want to be
working on at least one new “good habit” at all times. At the end
of one year it should be possible for me to have established
EIGHTEEN new habits!!! The first habit I’m working on is
journalling every day on my prayer life and reading. Apart from a
couple of hiccups, so far so good 🙂 Tim
