There are some situations when no matter what you say or do, you can never say enough to offer the comfort and reassurance needed by someone.
In a similar way, sometimes when we are so upset about the things that are affecting our life or the life of those around us, our tears just do not seem to offer the comfort or the help needed.
So sometimes our tears just simply aren’t enough so what do we do? We turn to God. No matter how senseless of hopeless a situation may seem, God is there, and He understands our tears and knows our pain.

How can we close our eyes
Until we open up our hearts
We can learn to share
And show how much we care
Right from the moment that we start
Seems like overnight
We see the world in a different light
Somehow our innocence is lost

The Distinct Dot 
What comes out of our eyes, tears, are placed there by God’s design to 1. Show compassion and 2. To release stress and upset. When you think about it, the tears really come from our hearts. And it is the inside that matters to God. A heart that cares and tries to comfort, re-assure, guide, assist and show loyalty is a heart after God’s own. Sometimes though, we just don’t know how to ease someones burden or solve a worldwide problem or a nation like Africa’s needs. But, the most useful thing to do is pray WHILE we are moved or crying and ask God’s Spirit to be with them. Let the words flow along with the tears. Therre are times though when we can’t put it into words and then you just say ‘this is how i feel, Lord. Help me/them’. We are talking to the Creator of this world and He can help. And will help.
