Do you ever feel like just shouting, “Shut up!” at the top of your voice sometime? I do. If there’s one thing I dislike, it’s people who talk and talk themselves, but aren’t interested in actually listening to anyone else. Sound familiar? I’m sure we can all think of people who fall into this category.
Have you ever considered how God feels when we just talk to Him and ask Him to help this person or that person, or intervene in this situation or those circumstances, but we fail to even stop for a moment and actually listen to what God is trying to say to us?
I would suspect we are all guilty of this on some occasions. Therefore, let’s make sure we stop for at least a few minutes each day, and just let God, “I’m listening Lord“, and then just wait upon Him in the silence for his guidance.
