When we hold something that is precious to us, we hold it firmly so that we don’t let go.
God considers each of us precious to Him, and that’s why in Isaiah 41 we read:
I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I’m not letting go. I’m telling you, Don’t panic. I’m right here to help you. (The Message)
God loves us so much that he keeps hold of us so that he is always there to help us and to guide us.
You are precious to God, and so He’s holding you firmly in His grasp.
