Have you ever said to someone that you’d pray for them, only for them to respond with something along the lines of, “Don’t bother as I don’t believe in your God”?
If so, what was your response to them?
I have also been in that situation, and to be honest I found it difficult to reply when the person said that to me. However, I did acknowledge that I was praying for them, because I believe in the power of pray, and so believe I can help them by praying for them, even if they don’t believe it will do any good.
I came across the following photo/picture last week, and it summed up why we should pray for everyone, including those who don’t believe in God to the power of prayer.
