I read a story yesterday about a footballer. Nothing special about that in itself, but what did catch my attention was one of the things he said.
It’s nice to be in a place where I’m wanted.

My post isn’t about Gareth Bale per se, but instead is about living or spending time in a place where you don’t feel wanted.
Sadly there are many children and adults who live in environments where they don’t feel wanted, and may in fact live in situations where they are scared or afraid of someone they live with. Imagine how much they would love to be in a place where they feel wanted!
God will always welcome us into His arms. So whether you feel wanted and loved by those you spend the majority of your time, or whether you wished you where in a different place, you can always come come to God.
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
