I came across the song ‘Forgiveness’ by Matthew West a few years ago, but until recently I didn’t know anything about the story behind the song. It’s a hard listen, but I’d ask you to watch the following video which first tells the story behind the song followed by Matthew West singing ‘Forgiveness’.
I can often find it difficult to forgive others, so I pray for the strength to forgive all who do something to hurt me or let me down, just as Renee did for the young man who killed her daughter. Would you forgive him?
The Distinct Dot 
I read part 2 of the story as well yes I was crying because we never found out how Stuart was killed because their were no witnesses. Brian my other Son is sure there was someone else involved to make his bike go down the embankment but we will never no.
