Forgiveness is tough to give to others when they have hurt us. It’s especially hard when someone asks us for forgiveness, and we’re put on the spot to say we’ll forgive them, when maybe we’re not quite at that place where we’re ready to forgive them. Those times are particularly difficult as we have to look deeply at ourselves to offer them forgiveness without any strings attached.
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
