Are you the type of person who, when you decide to buy something, you must buy it now? Or maybe you’re the person you when you get something new, just has to wear it/use it right away?

Me, if I decide to buy something I do like to buy it as soon as I make my decision. However once it arrives, I don’t find myself desperate to get it out the packaging and use it – Just having bought the item seems to satisfy my ‘I want it now’ requirement.

When it comes to our relationship with God, I’m sure we all get frustrated and sometimes even disgruntled with God when He doesn’t answer our prayers immediately. I’m sure we all need no reminder that God always answers our prayers, but in His time rather than when we want or expect him to.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

God knows us better than we know ourselves, and therefore he knows what’s best for us. However as humans we act as humans and get impatient with God at times. So today I remind myself and you, that we must always trust God as he will answer our prayers in His time, not ours.
