Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
Faithful God, faithful God, all sufficient One, I worship You. Shalom, my peace, my strong deliverer, I lift You up, faithful God.
These are the words of one of the melodies the band often used as the call to worship, prior to worship on a Sunday morning at Bellshill Salvation Army. These are words of reassurance and encouragement, reminding us that in all circumstances, God is faithful.
When we pray we can do so in the knowledge that God hears our prayers, and will answer them. He doesn’t always answer our prayers in the way we thought we needed, but He does always give is what we need at just the right time.
What promises has God kept to you? Whenever you feel as if God has forgotten you or ignored your prayers, remind yourself of God’s faithfulness.
Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (The message)
As we consider God’s faithfulness, remind yourself how wonderful our Heavenly Father is – He will never leave us, and we can never be separated from His love; He is our shield, our hope, and our promised victory.
We thank you God today for your faithfulness to each one of us.
