A second Easter

You may be confused by the title of this post, as this year is definitely not just the second year we celebrate Easter. Let me explain, who would have believed last Easter that we would still be battling this world pandemic this year.

Last Easter I shared the following post by the worldwide leader of the Salvation Army

I guess the reason I wanted to reshare this tweet with you this year, is to remind you that even although the world pandemic continues to affect how we live our lives, we do not forget Easter.

As we celebrate our second Easter in the midst of this pandemic, let us once again remember that Easter isn’t about a few days holidays from school or work; it isn’t about Easter eggs or Easter bonnets; it is however about the Son of God, dying an agonising death on a cross all those years ago, just so we would forever be forgiven of our sins.
