Desperate for you

Have you ever been desperate to contact someone to ask them for help or guidance?

It can make you feel desperate and stressed when you can’t get in contact with the people you rely on to support and guide you.

And I, I'm lost without you
And I, I'm desperate for you

Realistically though we should never allow ourselves to become reliant on another person, as ultimately it is likely that they will let us down – maybe not deliberately, or with any malice, but simply because they have their own life to live, and therefore can never be fully 100% available to us.

We can however rely on one person God, as he has promised to always be with us.

Do not yield to fear, for I am always near.
Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God.
I will infuse you with my strength
and help you in every situation.
I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’

Isaiah 41:10 (The Passion Translation)

From this reassuring bible verse, we are reminded that God will be with us, and will strength and guide us in every situation of life. What more could we ask for than our own personal motivator and guide?

Whenever you are desperate for help and support, turn to God first, rather than relying on friends or family, as God will never let you down – just breathe and and pray.
