Earlier today on Bellshill Salvation Army Band’s Facebook page I shared some devotions. I’d like to share those devotions with you tonight.
While wandering through my Facebook memories last week, I was reminded that 9 years ago I was getting ready for a weekend away with the band to Guisborough Salvation Army. I had been asked to prepare the pre meeting devotions for the band, and I was struggling to put together something structured and relevant. The memory that really caught my attention that day, was the following memory
I have to admit, that once again this memory was just the reminder I needed! How quickly we forget sometimes, that we need to trust God to help us in everything we do rather than just when we’re struggling with something.
I pray that we may each put every situation we face, every anxiety, and every care into God’s hands, as He alone can guide and strengthen us in every circumstance.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
