Time with God #4 – When God speaks

Have you noticed that sometimes we expect God to speak through burning bushes and thunder. However in reality, God normally speaks to us through the ordinary, the every day: a kind word, a sunrise, a memory, a line in a song, a moment of unexpected peace, a shared experience with a loved one.

Spending time with God means paying attention even in our every day tasks and activities because we must believe that He is woven into the fabric of our everyday lives.

I encourage you to look for Him today, not in the spectacular, but in the simple, every day task.
