Well after spending several days over the weekend working in our garden, I have rediscovered some muscles I had forgotten I had! My legs and my back particularly are feeling the aftermath of working in our garden.
It got me thinking – when come close to God, and give our lives to Him – what is the aftermath of that?
Aftermaths are often negative things, but when we give our heart to Jesus, it really is the most positive aftermath we will ever experience, as when we accept Christ as our Lord and Saviour, our lives are changed forever. So the aftermath is in the way we live our lives, what we do and what we say, must change so that it reflects God’s will for our lives. Whoever we were before we found Christ, is in the past, and our life starts anew from that moment.
