Physical wounds heal over time. They do however leave a visible scar meaning, we never forget how and when you got that physical scar.
But what about our emotional and psychological scars, do they heal over time? Well I came across the following quote a month ago, and it’s stuck with me. Do you agree or disagree with these words?
It has been said time heals all wounds. I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but it is never gone.

There are definitely some wounds in my life that have never truly healed. Our physical scars definitely do heal over time, but even then sometimes the psychological scars that go with the physical scar, may still remain. There are situations and circumstances that we find ourselves in that result in us suffering wounds that never fully heal – they are like open wounds that we can’t leave alone, and keep flaring up. we need give all our open wounds to God, as only He can help our wounds to heal forever.
Let God be your physician, and let Him heal all your wounds.
