It’s been another long week where I’ve felt completely exhausted again, and so ended up taking today off so I didn’t have to go into the office 2 days this week, for the second week running – This is more than I’m normally in the office.
Over and above that it’s been another busy week at work, with lots of meeting, and lots of follow-up I’ve needed to do on a number of projects. Then there’s the non work related things that, as seems to be the norm at the moment, have been taking up lots of my time as well.
This weekend is one of those that we used to get today and Monday next week off, but I no longer get them as statutory leave, as those two days were added to our annual leave entitlement a few years ago. To be honest, I now tend to forget this is a holiday weekend and wonder why folk are asking if we’re doing anything special this weekend. Yes, I took today off work, but I am working on Monday (from home), so it’s definitely not a holiday weekend for me.
Next week is a 5 day working week for me, but just the one day in the office, so I’m hoping it’s not as tiring a week as the last couple of weeks, but still a productive one.
