If Christ hadn’t come to earth as a baby to live as one of us, our history would be so different.
If Christ hadn’t been born in a manger and then died on a cross at Calvary, our present and our future would be so different.
Without Christmas there would be no cross. Without the cross we would not be forgiven of our sins. Without forgiveness of our sins we would have no hope for our future.
Thankfully, because of Christmas we have the knowledge that even once Christmas Day is over, we can still look forward to Easter, when we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and the hope that gives us for our future.
